Indian Space Research Organization or ISRO is a dream for many young students. With its flagship programme – YUVIKA – Yuva VIgyani Karyakram (Young Scientist Programme), ISRO aims to impart knowledge of space technology, space science and space application to budding space aspirants.
Through the programme, three grade 9 students are selected for a 2 week long residential training at various ISRO centers. The selection is based on their academic and extracurricular performance.
In 2020 due to the prevailing pandemic the programme had to be canceled after 328 students were shortlisted for the same. Now after 2 years of suspension, YUVIKA 2022 is being planned.
Soon the announcement will be made on the official ISRO website.
