Being observant of surroundings can often bring you ideas that you may have not thought of before. A similar thing happened with Puneet Dutta and ‘Attaware Biodegradable‘ came into being.
One of his travel experiences where he saw the large amount of thermocol floating on the river kept him thinking about this pressing waste management issue. In another instance, when he saw how puri was being used as a plate by one man, he immediately thought of taking a similar approach to reduce plastic used while serving food.
Inspired by this idea, Puneet started working on edible cutlery and his venture Attaware Biodegradable Private Limited was born. Initially, the innovative solutions were focused on the edible teacup and slowly progressed towards making Eco-friendly Cutlery plates, spoons and cups made from Grains.
“During one of my travels from Delhi to Vrindavan, I saw something floating on the Yamuna river. I stopped the vehicle to check what it was and it was large amounts of thermocol. What I saw that day in the water left me terribly disheartened,” begins Puneet Dutta.
