With Covid restrictions finally getting eased, many countries have started welcoming students back on campus.
However China is yet to do so. Ever since the pandemic began, Indian students studying in China haven’t gone back to college.
China is quite a popular study destination for Indians. My Universities in China are currently inviting applications for their UG programme. They propose to conduct them online.
In an official public notice released on Friday, UGC cautioned students seeking admissions to such programme. The notice says UGC or AICTE will not recognize any degree acquired through online mode without prior approval.
Students are requested to be well informed and find out whether the programs they are considering are recognized by UGC or AICTE.
